I went through VT-3 in 2000... I thought it seemed like a long time ago until hearing that 3 has been around 50 years. Is it still a "composite squadron" with USAF instructors? Great times down there flying the T-34.

Congrats to the squadron. Make the reunion a good party!

Congratulatios to VT-3 on 50 years of helping produce the World's finest Aviators. I entered Flight Training as a member of Class 11-60 in March of 1960. At the time I had no idea that VT-3 was formed that same year. I have a lot of good memories of flying the T-28 while going through, RI, Formation, and Gunnery training in 1961. We were all very well prepoared for our Carrier Qualification stint in VT-5 in the next phase. I wish I could have attended, but will be there in spirit. A big hello to all of my fellow classmates who were Training at that time. I wish you all the very best.
